Ronnie seems incapable of writing an unbiased article.
Btw, Ronnie.. reported for racism:
"Boxing writer Sabelo Skiti says that with both fighters unbeaten and carrying reputations of being nig hitters..."
learn to use spell check

Getting back to boxing! I've seen several of these SA fighters and they have a good style. They move well and throw lots of punches. I want to see if Joyi is as good as advertised. Movers are difficult for the typical Mexican style fighter to deal with. Plan A is to chase after the runner and work the body, hoping to slow him down. Plan B is like plan A except he eats a cow full of leather. These are little guys, so I don't expect an early KO, but lots of action.Comment

Joyi-Garcia should be a good fight, Joyi impressed me with his performance against Condes, he's a pretty tall guy for the weight, lanky, knows how to control distance, has a good workrate and good power, good technique too, most Nick Durandt trained fighters out of South Africa have good technique. Should be a really good one.Comment

Opponent 1 ~ Sammy Gutierrez
Joyi June 27th, 2008 stopped Sammy in the 7th
Garcia III August 22nd, 2009 MD12 116-112 | 115-113 | 114-114
Garcia II SD12 June 14th, 2008 ~ 116-115 | 115-114 | 112-117
Garcia I D12 June 2nd, 2006 ~ scores not available through boxrec
Opponent 2 ~ Florante Condes ~
Joyi UD12 120-107 | 119-108 | 120-107 (africa)
Garcia SD12 118-110 | 112-115 | 115-112
Interesting how Garcia struggled against the same two opponents while Joyi absolutely outclassed Condes with two 120-107 scores and Garcia barely ended up winning a SD cuz some judge watched different fight if I look at the other two judge's scorecards .
Going with Joyi by UD , something like 8-4 rounds . Too many things speak for Joyi here : home advantage is big being in South Africa , almost 4 inch reach advantage and Garcia has never fought outside of Mexico in 27 bouts .Comment
