"What Ifs" and P4P lists

What if Marvin Hagler were awarded the decision he oh so unfortunately lost against Ray Leonard? Where would he be rated in regards to the all time P4P list?

What if DLH were awarded the decision that he should have taken against Trinidad or the second fight with Mosely? Would he even begin to enter the top 15-20 p4p all time?

I still wonder where Oscar will be placed in regards to peoples all time lists. I know opinions vary from person to person but there are many fighters who appear on everyones top lists and I think he should rank pretty high up there at the end of his career.

I think Hagler won that fight but is still assured a spot on any P4P list for his accomplishments, I'm sure that's not what you meant but it's late and a mah****a is tired.

As far as Oscar is concerned he has definitely grinded it out against some tough oppositions, he's won some shifty decisions and he's lost a few shifty decisions, both can probably be attributed to the fact that he's the "Golden Boy" and losing is sometimes good for boxings marketing as well. You want to capture him through the bad periods in his career so you can promote the next good moment and make ****loads of dough.

Corruption in boxing aside Oscar was dominant as **** at lightweight and was successful at welterweight and light middleweight as well, I think he could probably even be successful at middleweight still. Losing to Hopkins is no shame, even though it was a bit of a love tap, haha...

I think we'll have to see what the future holds for De La Hoya...I don't know if he'll ever top any top P4P lists but I think that he may definitely be in the running depending on how the rest of his career holds up.

Win or lose, Hagler was already an all-time great before the Leonard fight. However, if Marvin had been given the decision, i don't think it would've put him that much higher on the all-time lists, if at all. Leonard was considered over the hill, well past his prime, and consequently believed to be insane to want a bout against a fighter like Hagler. If anything, if the decision had gone the other way, i think it would've effected Leonard's legacy moreso than Hagler's.

Regarding DLH, had he been given the decision against Trinidad and Mosley, he still wouldn't be in the top 50 all-time. In reality, against his best opposition (Quartey, Mosley, Trinidad, Whitaker, Vargas, Hopkins), his record reads 3-4. He wasn't too impressive against the elite fighters and that hurts his legacy in my opinion.

halger...umm i think he's on everyone top 5 p4p..he's on of the best hands down..along with greats like louis-ali-sanchez-J.C.Chavez etc....i mean he did great things..that man was a tank..hard to drop and even harder to trade punches with...the man was amazing..sometimes in this sport you can lose a fight or lose a UD and come out a winner in true fans eye's

DLH would barely (if at all) crack my top 50 P4P all time. Lost too many of the big ones.
