Name other great heavies who were in their prime at the same time that Holmes, Marciano, Louis, Tunney, Tyson (in his prime 85-89) reigned. Those guys not great heavies?

I thought you were implying that there aren't any other great fighters besides the brothers so it means they're overrated, i'm asking if the same is true for the fighters mentioned above?

The last great HW was Lewis obviously

So when we say Lewis isnt it safe to say that its been just the Klits for the last 6-7 years?

I dont get how that equals a great division. I never claimed that Tyson, Tunney, and Holmes fought in the Golden Age Im just saying that this era just may be the worse.

Especially when the third best guy is a blown up crusierweight and the 4th is an overweight guy.

It's true this era is not competitive enough to be considered a good era.

Since Tyson? Hmm. You seem to be forgetting someone bro. Let's see what George Foreman has to say about it...

Tyson and the Klitschkos are both doomed with bad divisions. The difference is that Tyson did it in one round while the Klits do it in 10.

They are all greats in the division, but that's why people will always remember Tyson.

The reason why MMA has gotten so popular is because it gives fans the chance to see a KO in 3 minutes. They don't want to wait 30 minutes. The American attention span is very short.

                      1) Haye at #3 isn't proven, he might be, but he hasn't fought any top 10 yet aside from Valuev and that was a debacle so we don't know yet.

                      2) Haye is 6'3 and naturally 220-225 he's always been a HW and is as big as Foreman and Ali give me a break.

                      3) Arreola at #4?

This era has lots of good HW's the brothers are just that much better.

                      Ibragimov
                      Chagaev
                      Haye
                      Peter
                      Valuev
                      Boytsov
                      Povetkin
                      Adamek
                      Chambers
                      Arreola
                      Thompson
                      Brock
                      Gomez
                      Byrd
                      Lyakhovich
                      Brewster
                      Pulev
                      Helenius

All very soild HW's. If K2 weren't around all the others would be neck and neck and people would not be talking about a lack of depth, true story. They're just that dominant.
