It wasn't Pavlik but Stewart that ruinned Taylor...

I noticed a big change in Taylor as soon as he got with Manny. Manny stopped him from using what he had & made him a jab jab right fighter. Before that Taylor had a nice lil arsenal of punches. Also I think Manny isn't that great of a trainer & the only reason Klit is handling folks is his size & power.

Wladimir used to throw a great variety of punches before he started working with Manny. The Ray Mercer fight is an perfect example.

However Wlad also used to get hit a lot, and he hasn't been hit much since working with Manny.

          Taylor ruined Taylor...

He was always more athletic than technically sound. Steward was giving him good advice, he just always did him.

JTs training habits, nerves and lack of ring instincts did him in.
he was an athlete first, boxer 2nd.
