He's not an actual employee of GBP, but there's a lot more to it than Oscar just paying Floyd to fight. I'm sure GBP has helped Floyd with his "personal" issues in exchange to continue the business relationship they have. They make each other money.

Any way you put it Dlh is the boss. Golden boy is the promoter of mayweather's fights. Mayweather promotions does'nt promote any fights, and philthy rich records does'nt make any records.

I would not exactly call it like that, Floyd is with GBP and for good reason they have done a pretty damn good job in his last four fights with them (including the Mosley fight since that promotion appears to be going well).

It is more like they benefit from working together, Floyd gets the services of GBP which help making his events big without having to put together a whole team (he basically outsources the real promotion while getting a promoter cut with his shell promotion) and GBP get their name on Floyd's fights which are the biggest fights GBP has done.

I do not think Oscar can tell Floyd what to do so I would be hard pressed to call him his boss.
