I feel Pacquiao doesn't want the fight as bad as he makes it seem. Either because he wants to protect his legacy or he want to protect his political campaign.

He was equally willing to kill the Hatton and De La Hoya fights when he thought the contract terms disrespected him. It's about respect with him and always has been - it's really very simple.

I think he should have swallowed his pride and made the fight anyway, for the sake of the fans, and for the sake of his legacy; but I predicted he'd kill the fight before he actually did, because that's how he is and always has been when he feels disrespected. If Floyd was serious about the fight, and had any intelligence, he would not have conducted the negotiations in the way that he did.

Pac wants the fight but he puts self-respect much higher than any fight. He could be criticised for being too over-sensitive and for not putting the fans first, but to claim it was that he didn't want the fight just shows you don't understand what makes the man tick. When he thought the fight had been made, he had a big celebration.

just finished watching the second fight between Pacquiao and Morales on youtube, if you look in the crowd, you can see lil floyd sitting with that Elerbe dude. anyway, with about 1:15 left in the 7th round, Manny starts 2 take control of the fight with big shots & who do you see jumping out of his seat with excitment, cheering on the Pac-Man? none other than Mayweather himself......

hahaha. floyd was very excited watching pac fight. I bet floyd himself was bored watching his own fights. HAHAHAHA

both men, whatever way you look at it, are #1 and #2 in boxing. Its not everyday that the top 2 pound for pounders are also the top 2 draws, and in the same division.
Boxing NEEDS this fight.
**** the back accounts and **** who draws more or who should have done what...this fight just needs to happen.
Maybe the biggest fight in the history of the sport not happening over bull**** is ridiculous. I dont care who needs who. but i do care about Boxing and this fight is easily the most important fight in years and the sport of Boxing needs it.
So all parties involved just need to make it happen, before they miss their shot and potentially hurt the sport anymore than it already is.

You're misquoting and completely twisting what I said. He isn't motivated by money the way some boxers are, that's obvious to anyone who knows anything about him, but that doesn't mean he doesn't like money when he gets it, or that he would fight for free - quite the opposite, he won't fight for less than he thinks he's worth. And not being motivated primarily by money doesn't make you a saint, as you imply. Most people are motivated by far more than just money and don't put money above everything else. I have nothing but contempt for anyone who can't even imagine that any boxer would put anything else above money.

And not all PED experts agree with you. Don't stoop to lying.

arum can't stop it from happening if floyd just use the rules that he has been using in his 40 fights. Don't you think the fight had already happened if he didn't demand this extra drug testing.
