People keep talking about what Shane said but that wasnt really nothing but just basic talk. That line on the title of my thread was the hardest **** in the interview to me and he said it like 10 times throught the whole thing. Thats the **** that got me the most hyped. Some other good lines were win Mosley was talking about how competitve he is, how he aint going anywhere, how he rises to the occasion in big fights, and when he gets in the ring youre going to feel him, youre going to feel every bit of him. That **** had me hyped.
Floyd also had some other great lines that was just as good as the thread Title when he said that somebody is going to have to dethrone him before they can say that they are the best. Wether Pac fans want to admit it or not, thats a true as statement. You cant have a guy ranked #1 or 1a and is undefeated but you retire without fighting him when you are in the same division. You cant leave without taking that 0. You just cant do it wether people want to admit it or not.
Then it was great because Shane said that's what he's here to do and then Floyd cuts him off and says thats what you are here to "try" to do. Floyd was also hard when he said that he has alot of tricks up his sleeve. It was different hearing a boxer say something like that.
Funny lines were when Floyd was saying that from the outside looking in, fighters think he will be easy to beat until they get in the ring with him. Shane then says that he's too old to think that way and Floyd cuts him off and says "you not too old". Then he turns and looks at the camera and says "he's not too old, now", basically telling everyone to not take credit from him if he wins by saying that Shane is too old even though thats not really what Mosley meant when he said that.
It was also funny how Floyd tries to be slick and never admits that he knows something or was watching something. They ask him about the Margarito fight and Floyd says something like I think I caught the end of it because I might have been out at a party that night or something. Then they asked him how he felt about Shane in 2000 being on top after the Oscar win and Floyd played it off by saying that he doesnt watch TV or read the papers about stuff like that. Then they asked him about the Margarito win and was he impressed or thought Shane was someone to deal with and Floyd said that he thinks he was retired at the time. **** is funny how he never wants to admit that he saw something or give you too much credit.
