Floyd was on course to being one of the best ever... but he kind of got lost along the way and started caring more about money than anything else, money over legacy and proving he was truly the best. In terms of talent he's probably up there with Henry Armstrong, Ray Robinson, Ali etc. because his talent is so extraordinary. But it's about more than talent.

History decides that and right now, he doesn't have anything special to leave history to talk about him with. After a few years he'll be forgotten, no nation is behind him, he hasn't been in memorable fights, he doesn't stand for anything but himself, he doesn't own a record that sets him apart, and hia resume is not that solid even. If he stayed retired he would have faded into
      obscurity.

        Peter File is correct.

        Peter File = Peadophile

He sounds like a mature grown man.....unlike the little boy you appear to be .....just saying

          Disagree with that one bra.

He could be in my opinion a Top 10,he isn't.

He would have to beat Pacquiao,Mosley,Williams and\or Martinez in a row for that.

I pretty much agree with this. Apart from the fact that he's a 5 weight world champion, which is pretty rare. His resume is nothing special. An old Oscar, blown up Hatton, his best wins are probably over Corrales and Castillo.

Well anyone can be a GOAT if they grow horns and eat fresh green grass...

Kidding aside if he gets past Mosley AND PACQUIAO he can be inside the top 50, I agree to those who say he's got immense talent but dang he has to beat the best to be the best, heck if he loses he's still an ATG for his superb skills and will be mentioned in the same breath as other ATGs, just for skills wise hah...
