I don't think it's funny at all. It's a huge lack of professionalism and judgment by the writer. It's ******, inaccurate and disrespectful. Chambers almost went the distance, and yet he was fast asleep ? This guy, who was 209, 6 1/2, who managed to stay on his feet for 11 rounds and 2:50 against a freak of nature, doesn't deserve such treatment by some ********* writer.

Worst title I've ever seen here. Cliff has tried to make a stylish title, and he miserably failed like no other has ever had. I'm really upset.

stop whining... it IS funny. in boxing u dont get points for surviving. freak of nature? you're talking the heavys, they're all freaks. chambers didn't look like a boxer during rounds 9 thru 12, i say:

he deserved to get KTFO

and the hook was anything but powerful, it just shows what a fragile mindframe eddie was in at that point

So, again : how was Eddie fast asleep almost going the distance ? I wouldn't have had no problem with such a title if Eddie was actually ko'ed before the fifth round (or so). It's not about empasizing the ko. It's about emphasizing the ko using miserable style and taste since it was nothing like a fast nap.

You missed the point. You can't be fast asleep when you almost go the distance. It's an inaccurate and misleading title. A failed attempt to come up with a cool title. That's what my so called whining is about.

You're misinterpreting "Fast asleep." The phrase isn't referring to how deep into the fight, it's referring to the fact that, as the idiom would put it, the left hook left Chambers "fast asleep."

I could take three hours to pass out tonight. But say Jessica Alba comes up to me a little bit later. She would look at me and unfortunately she'd see that I was fast asleep.

I see... But obviously, I'm not the only one who misinterpreted the title, reading the other comments... Probably that since english is not my maternal language, I just didn't know that idiom, which led to my confusion...
