I honestly think Sanchez would've beaten him. I think Chavez was a good fighter though.

I agree, alot of people will pick Chavez because they know nothing about Salvador.

Chavez KO'S Sanchez. People make Sanchez out to be a great fighter, when we all know he wasn't. Had he lived to fight again, he would of been EXPOSED.... Gomez was "weight drained". Red Lopez was old and beaten. Azuma Nelson with only a few fights was beating him, until the 15 ROUND!!! Sanchez was good, but he wasn't around long enough to be called great..SORRY

Chavez would've been the much bigger man, I mean I can see Sanchez maybe going up to 135, for sure 130 but that was on same day weigh ins, Chavez was a bona fide 140 pounder with modern day weigh in rules. Sanchez is definitely the more skilled fighter but the size difference might be too much in real life. Pound for pound, Sanchez beats Chavez.

Gomez was weight drained?
But he moved UP to fight Sanchez?

Sanchez wasnt a really slick boxer. He was a great boxer puncher but liked to get into exchanges and did get hit.

Chavez being faster when he was at super featherweight, plus being made of granite, i think he stood a good chance at beating Sanchez.
Bigger, stronger, more powerful and very accurate.

chavez hit way harder and had a way better chin.but people dislike him for his machismo some sanchez didnt had
