Teddy Atlas to Chambers , "Your the reason I quit training fighters."

I like Chambers but hes to small as a heavyweight and hes to content trying to land his jab and double jab. Even against Peters who was nothing more than a over sized heavybag Chambers never tried to land a big shot.

Hes an undersized heavyweight who tries to fight on the outside, doesnt bend his legs or move his head. If the heavyweight division wasnt so weak we wouldnt even know his name.

I'm not slamming him for his performance tonight, there wasnt anything he could do. But sometimes you need to duck your head and throw some bombs, all he did was double jab, one upstairs and one to the body all night. I agree with Atlas, the guy just doesnt try hard enough to hurt his opponents.

Chambers is good but Wlad is great. No shame in losing to one of the greatest HW's of alltime. He will be back and he has the work ethic to still compete against any heavy not named Klitschko.

If Chambers opened up right in front of Wlad he would of been knocked out earlier. Chambers was fighting smart in round 10 and 11, using his feet, and using offense. But again Chambers had to circle AWAY from Wladimir's right hand.

Atlas is right about one thing, Chambers was wrong to fight from the distance, although he did way better than most wlad opponets, its clear that wlad's weakness is on the inside, and chamber is quite good at that as he showed in the dimitriko fight, I guess the biggest issue is closing the gap without being tagged by wlad.

He lost to the best heavyweight in the world and looked really bad. I believe as soon as he felt the power he didn't want any. Kevin Johnson had a worst performance in my opinion against the other Klitschko, Vitali. Chambers-Thompson, make it happen.

I'd really like to see him drop 10lbs and fight at cruiserweight.

Wladimir's weakness is that he can't fight on the inside and that he expects opponents to circle to his right hand. When you circle from Wladimir's right he can't land the right hand or the left hook, and that's when you nail him with good shots.

Chambers had poor advice today, but then again Wladimir was just too good.

that's because he got a 10 minute rest from his glove debacle that granted him a 3rd wind

Chambers is a good defensive fighter but lacks ant spirit !!
