Mad respect.
The Klitschko's deserve respect.

Truth be told Larry fought excellent fighters, Shavers, Cooney, Ken Norton, Spinks, Mercer ect.Comment

I find them dull as hell. I'd rather watch Danny Williams whup Mike Tyson over and over than watch any Klitschko fight.Comment

No, they don't Burner. They just fight their mandatories and try to get the best available opponents.
Wlad tried to get Arreola as a replacement for Haye last June, but Chris wasn't in shape and so he turned it down. Wlad is fighting Chambers now because he's the WBO mandatory. Wlad tried to get Haye last year, but he chickened out and lied about a sore back.
Vitali tried to get Valuev, then tried for Solis recently. Solis & his promoters turned Vitali down because HBO refused to show it.
Don't make unfair accusations.Last edited by The Hammer; 03-20-2010, 02:50 PM.Comment

They do deserve more respect here in the U.S., it's a shame they don't have better competition so we could find out how good they really are. They dominate who is there, not much more they could do.Comment

I just want to see Wlad vs. A Puncher and Vitali vs. a guy like Chambers. No, they don't Burner. They just fight their mandatories and try to get the best available opponents.

Well then, Arreola should fight Peter to become the next IBF mandatory. Wlad will accommodate him.
Chambers' promoter should have paid the WBC sanctioning fees and got a ranking, instead of just the IBF and WBO fees. Vitali would have preferred Chambers over Sosnowski.Comment

To be honest, even if there were above satisfactory level of competition for both brothers to stake their claim they would be grudgingly respected as Lennox Lewis was when he reigned.
Simply put, they are not American hopefuls in a division that has been historically dominated by American athletes.
I think this is where the American reluctance deprives American acceptance.Comment
