Also, I pay for Showtime and HBO for boxing only.

A fight card would have to be just outstanding for me to actually buy a PPV for 1 fight that cost more than all of my movie channels combined.

Then you shouldn't watch it. Show some restraint and stick to your principles.

If you don't like it, you should write HBO about it and let them know they dropped the ball on this one.

This was an HBO championship boxing level fight without a doubt.

I agree with everything you said. But HBO also has a budget, and Wlad has put on a bunch of completely boring fights which have bored American fans to death.

I wish HBO was showing this but this sends a good message to fighters and promoters that just because your on HBO doesnt mean you'll always be, and you need to please the fans.

I like Wlad a lot, but when its that obvious that there is no one that can beat him and yet hes still extremely boring, it's hard not to fault HBO for not wanting to pay millions for the right to show his fights.

Do I really have to break down the costs of watching TV alone? That alone keeps many impoverished families from even owning a TV set.

You speak as if $15 is breadcrumbs just because one owns a TV set, computer, and internet connection. And actually, some people (actually, alot of people) only own a computer with internet, but no TV. Reason for that is that it has simply become too expensive to watch TV.

So maybe, just maybe, and I might simply just be living on Fantasy Island, some people simply cannot afford the $15.

For those who can afford it, but would like to use their $15 elsewhere, well, I can sum it up with one example I told a friend of mine........

"I like steak. But if theres a $100 steak that supposedly tastes good, I would not buy it. I can afford to pay the $100, but I will absolutely not pay it!"
