I'd actually spend a lot of money on ppvs providing the fights were good but in the UK they're either free or don't show at all.

That being said, I spent money on the Mayweather vs Hatton fight and money on the Pacquiao fight.

NFL, NBA, etc. offer MOST games locally for free, and even those games that play on subscription packages usually cost the same as one or two boxing PPV's.

In boxing, if we only have 5 major PPV's a year- at $60.00, that's still $300.00

Factor in that most of us here buy an HBO or Showtime package at $10.00 or more a month, and that's another $120.00

That's, for your average boxing fan that streams most non-major or international (like this one) events, still an annual contribution of around $420.00.

That's fucking unheard of for the fans of many other major sports. In fact, I'd say- on average- the nature of boxing requires us to shell out much MORE than other sports.

This is the main argument over why boxing PPV's undercards need to be more stacked, why PPV prices should go down, and why the networks should offer us more free fights.

I don't see why you'd get pissed at boxing fans who don't want to throw another $15 on the heap - many who shelled out $60 last weekend- to watch ONE fight.
best posts in the thread. The klitsckhos shouldnt charge ppv based on principle alone. That principle: if your style sucks to watch on tv, you shouldnt charge ppv.

Its still 15 bucks mate. If you could do 60 last week, you can do 15 this week.

It better be a good, clear, uninterrupted stream.
