before this whole PED acuusation made by the mayweathers were their any boxers that you suspected to be on PED's or steroids? i personally would not be suprised if the klitschko brothers were or maybe even david haye. are there any that you may have suspected. this is not a hate pacquaio or hate floyd thread.

Well we know one Klitschko has used before. Sports Medicine PHd's? Yikes.

It's quite common in boxing especially because testing is so pathetic. I think the actual #s would surprise us all.

Why do you think the Klitschko's and Haye are on roids? Because they're not fat?

I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know what the **** you're talking about.

Shannon Briggs recently tested positive for an illegal substance of some sort, that dude was swollen with muscle, 6'4, 273lbs and no fat on him!!

Vitali tested positive for steriods in the olympics.

James Toney tested positive in 2005 after the Ruiz fight.

I have always felt suspect of the Heavyweight Division. But you never know, im sure there are alot of boxers who have used PEDS before but we might never know who they are.

IMO there are several boxers and many other top athletes that have used steroids and PEDs at SOME point in their training. The an off period for a fighter or athlete is a great time to use steroids and HGH to increase mass when there is next to zero chance of testing and getting caught out. During that period serious mass gains can be made and once the the athlete stops taking them although mass will be lost a lot of the gains are carried over but will be undetected.
There are other drugs that can be used as well and are not to be underestimated many of these deal with the conditioning of the mind. I was a witness in a court case that had serious implications for a friend of mine that was being tried.
The case pivoted to a large extent on how my cross examination went and it put a lot of pressure on me and I was extremely nervous about the prospect that if I did not perform well because of nerves that this would dictate my friends future. I took Beta blockers before court and my cross examination was a doddle , I had no nerves what so ever and despite the cross examining barrister doing his best to rattle me I could think clearly answered everything well and made him look an idiot. There is no way I would have been that cool under that kind of pressure or performed as well as I did without Beta Blockers. It gave me an insight into how helpful PEDs can be. Beta Blockers would be no use for boxers other than saving energy with dealing with nerves in the build to a fight but for a golfer, snooker player and darts player they would be fantastic.

For me I wouldn't be suprised if 80% of people in pro physical sport use steriods.

There is alot of money and many of the competitors are in it as well as Goverment body of the sport cover it up so they wont loss sponosership like it happened in Tour de France

Evander Holyfield: Started at 177 increased to 190, jumped to 205 and moved up again to 220. Thats an increase of 43 lbs of muscle in about 15 years.
James Toney: I think he used roids in his first fight with Jirov, amoung other fights
Roy Jones: Moved up 19 lbs to fight Ruiz in 6 weeks, Positive for the Hall fight, I think he also used in the Griffin II fight as well
Frank Bruno: bulked up to around 240+, faded quickly in fights
Bernard Hopkins: Still fighting at 45, moved up two divisions without any noticable increase in bodyfat either.
Shane Mosley:Moved from lw all the way up to jmw without any noticable increase in body fat, I think he was using roids during his time at jmw
