like someone mentioned if he gets su****ious that easy bcuz of someones nationality why did he hire him in the first place? and if clottey knew pac was gonna do all that, why did he just not attack? if it was me i wouldve stepped forward and feinted a jab, then countered the hook already knowing it was coming. if u got info like that why not use it to the fullest? especially at the end of the fight when he had nothing to lose.

Pacquiao's Secret New Technique

Remember that new technique Pacquiao said he'd roll out against Clottey? Don't remember seeing anything all that new? It's because he didn't use it. Says Roach:

"The plan was that Manny would throw a one-two and then step backward as if he were trying to get out. We knew that would bring Clottey in, and the instant Manny saw him start to throw his jab he was supposed to catch him with a hook on top of it."

Only Clottey never reacted as expected. Roach thinks a Ghanaian sparring partner of Pacquiao's may have snitched to Clottey, who's from Ghana, about what was coming.

the ghanian guy theyre talking about is called abdulai or something but hes been at the wid card for 2 years or somethings and he was sparring with khan etc, he has a record of 19-0 with 18 ko's, this story is BS
