if floyd went up against the clottey from the event? i don't think floyd could have done any better. floyd doesn't have pac's workrate and i imagine floyd would still be too cautious to throw any combinations.

no he wouldn't; he doens't throw that much & Clottey's defence reminded me of Abraham's defence.

he wouldnt have thrown 1000 punches thats for sure. but his connect percentage would probably be 50-60% unlike Pacquiao's 20%. Both Pacquiao and Mayweather humiliate Clottey but just with different styles.

No. Floyd would have won by UD but would have taken less chances than Manny. If you thought Pac/Clottey was boring, set your alarm clock if ever PBF fights Clottey.

I wouldn't actually think Clottey would employ the same tactic on Floyd. I mean yes that high-guard-peek-a-boo would be useful for some period but i doubt seeing him use it with regularity like he did against Pacquiao. Pac's such a machine and Clottey was playing too safe or didn't take too much risk he just covered up most of the fight. I could see Clottey and Floyd playing the "aggressor" alternately. But I see Floyd gaining a few rounds and Box his way to victory with Clottey playing the aggressor at later rounds.

exactly, pacquiao discouraged him with his aggression, mayweather wouldnt do this and it would be a vey very boring fight
