POWELL - LATIMORE

ROUND 1:
Powell starts off with trying the jabs out. Latimore trying the jab to the body. Both testing each other, throwing lefts. Nothing major lands. Powell lands a short little shot. Then he throws a one-two in an exchange and hits him with a solid shot. Latimore sneaks in a solid left. Latimore slips a punch and lands a shot. Latimore misses a shot and Powell counters. Both inside, ref seperates them. Powell jabs. Backs up. Sneaky left for Powell. Both swing big and miss. Latimore lands with a right hook to the body. Powell returns the favor with a body shot. Right hook by Powell lands. Latimore lets his hand go, nothing really lands. End of round.

10-9, Powell.

ROUND 2:
Both start off with jabs, Latimore throwing four. Both missing jabs, a left by Powell partially lands. Latimore coming forward. Left over the top for Powell misses. Latimore uppercut just misses the mark. Powell is against the ropes and Latimore misses the openings. 1-2 for Powell does well. Latimore landed to the top of the head. Jab to the body for Powell. Solid right for Latimore lands flush against Powell. Both sticking jabs. Two uppercuts to the body for Powell, a little low. Both miss jabs at the same time. And again. Latimore getting low, looking for angles. Powell leaves a lazy right out there, catches nothing. Both swing in close, neither getting the best of it. Solid stiff jab for Powell. Two ig shots from both are blocked. Round ends.

ROUND 3:
Both come out and Powell throws a jab, followed by a Latimore jab. Both off the mark. Nothing landing so far. Jabv to the body for Latimore misses. Little jab for Powell. Latimore getting low, missed. Solid left catches Powell. Accidental headbutt, no blood. Both miss jabs. Powell lands his next. And another. Solid left for Powell, but Latimore pins him against the ropes. Latimore lands a little shot, but Powell moves away. Uppercut is blocked that's thrown by Latimore. Powell against the ropes, Latimpore throwing a few rights. One lands, Left uppercut for Latimore misses. Jab for Powell is blocked. Left by Latimore grazes Powell. Jabs off the mark for Powell. Left for Latimore is off the mark as Powell moves. 1-2 for Powell does well against Latimore. They clinch and the round ends.

Nah. Close rounds, and different 'judges' see different things...

ROUND 4: Jabs both doing well with the jab to start. Jab is working well for Powell. Right for Latimore lands well. A right lands enough for Latimore, but the Powell jab does well. Latimore seems buzzed by a shot and Powell comes forward, but Latimore seems alright for now. 1-2 for Latimore is off the mark. Ref times the action to put the mouthpiece in for Latimore. Back in action as Latimore comes forward. Big left lands for Latimore as Powell backs up now, agianst the ropes. Latimore lands the jab and Powell seems a bit weaker now. Slow jab for Powell misses, and Latimore misses down low. 4 punch combination for Powell misses. 1-2 for Latimore misses wide. Jab war is won by Powell. Two big shots miss for Latimore. Small left hand for Latimore punctuates the round. Round ends.

39-37, Powell.

ROUND 5:
Both come out, Powell starts with a missing jab. Latimore coming forward with a few jabs, one lands. Nice left for Latimore lands. Little jab for Latimore hits him as most of Powell's stuff has been blocked thus far. Decent jab now for Powell. Big left for Latimore misses. Same goes for Powell. Right ot the body for Latimore lands a little, biut the rest misses in the combo. Powell lands a solid left hand. Powell is moving around. Straight right hand for Latimore lands. Jab blocked by Latimore. Big jab/counter for Latimore lands. Jab lands again for Latimore. Powell lands a solid jab, then moves. Blood coming from the nose of Latimore. Tiny jab for Latimore lands, and the round ends.

48-47, Powell.

ROUND 6:
Two missing jabs to open the round up. Latimore coming forward. 1-2 for Powell is blocked. Both missing jabs. Both trade jabs. And again. Solid shot for Powell lands. Latimore dong some work with Powell agaisnt the ropes. Powell jabs his way out of it. Right to the body for Latimore lands well. Big left for Powell lands well. Cut on the left eye of Latimore. Breaken up by the ref. Right to the body for Latimore, partially blocked by the elbow. Big left for Powell lands. And the jab. Little left lands as well. Backing up, both miss shots. Solid left lands for Latimore. Round ends with a small flurry from Latimore with Powell in the corner.

58-56, Powell.
