Fact is If Cotto beats Foreman and has that belt at 154lbs it brings more $$ than Margarito..and even if he loses a JMM trilogy is much more lucrative for Pacquiao than Margarito..Margarito had nothing to offer..PERIOD!..

So no matter how one sided he beat Cotto or would beat JMM above 140..he still would collect a belt in an 8th weight class and the history of JMM-Pac would speak for itself to sell BIG!!..

I don't think the fight would do good PPV numbers even if Margarito draws a strong Mexican crowd at the gate. It wouldn't hold any significance about the division. I could see Pac making more money fighting someone who is undefeated. The fight with Clottey proves that people want to see competitive fights and the PPV numbers reflect that. I don't care what you say. It would be a hard sell getting Margarito on a PPV with Pac seeing of how he has been off for so long after getting wiped out by Mosley. It's not like the Margarito-Cotto fight knocked ****s in the dirt where the PPVs go either, so I don't agree with your thread Chicano.
