Dispute about money. I think Oscar wanted the lion share

This right here. I think he had every right to since he's the one who put people in the seats. Trinidad was a draw, no doubt but not on the level as Oscar.

          Plenty of reasons.

          1. Trinidad had in his mind, bigger fish to fry. Also, he thought of himself as a bigger fish than Oscar. Which, realistically, no one was. He wanted more money than Oscar thought he was worth. And maybe they both had points.

          2. Oscar at first had a problem with the idea of fighting him right after his first pro loss. It happens. And when you put place in between fights, the more space, the less likely the rematch becomes. Rematches like Pacquiao/Marquez II are VERY rare, whether people know it or not.

Maybe Trinidad knew what the outcome would be.. I woulda loved to see a rematch, even now I wouldn't mind seeing it

Both wanted the lions share ala Hopkins and Jones.
