700k is good, but not for the supposed biggest draw in boxing. Overall, it's better this way. Less people saw a bunch of ****ty fights.
I agree, other than Pac and Cowboys stadium this was as weak of an event as I have ever seen. The card was shockingly bad. Paid 60$ to watch Pac hammer away at a shell for 12rds. And I'd do it again because Pac has earned that with me. Almost every fight of his I have watched has been exciting except (Clottey and Barrera 2) where his opposition just tried to survive and did everything in their power to not make it exciting. That is why I am a Pac fan and not a Floyd fan. I used to like floyd 4-5 yrs ago but after watching all of his last fights I stopped liking him. He doesn't care at all about the fans and takes on easy fights and does nothing to entertain the fans. **** he fought a safe fight against a blown up super feather in JMM and that was after he missed weight for the fight.

60-40 mayweather. Mayweather is the biggest draw in boxing history now. 2 million + sold if anybody thinks otherwise (pac vs de la hoya only did 800,000 buys) thiers the proof
Your a ****tard though cause Floyd will never get 60/40. The only way that fight is ever happening (which it probably won't) is 50/50 and they are going to have to come to an agreement on the drug testing. And everybody knows that Floyd vs delehoya and Hatton did more than Pac's. Unfortunately uneducated people like yourself do not factor in the worst recession since the GREAT DEPRESSION. The reason it will be 50/50 is because they are both superstars albeit ONE HAS COME FROM A LOWER WEIGHT CLASS AND HAS ALREADY FOUGHT 2 TOP 4 WW'S AND HAS A TITLE IN THE DIVISION AND 6 OTHER DIVISIONS TO GO WITH IT. HE IS THE P4P BEST FIGHTER IN THE WORLD FIGHTER, FIGHTER OF THE YEAR AND THE MOST FAMOUS PERSON IN HIS COUNTRY.

AND FLOYD TALKS A LOT AND PEOPLE HATE HIM AND THATS WHY HE DESERVES HIS 50/50 SPLIT.

THEY BOTH NEED EACH OTHER IN ORDER TO MAKE THEIR BIGGEST PAY DAY. PLAIN AND SIMPLE

He said it did as well as Pacquiao-Hatton, didn't that do 850,000 buys?

Either way, Everyone involved with 'The Event' is laughing all the way to the bank- 51,000 fans bought tickets (and expensive parking + concessions), a minimum of 700,000 buys w/ limited promotions, put the whole thing together in limited time, and one fighter the public has never heard of.

pacqiuao is a draw no matter who he fights!700 thousand ppv buys tells you alot about pacqiuaos drawing power!mayweather needs to fight a star top fighter in order to draw,if mayweather would of fought clotty nobody would of supported it like they did for pacqiaou.only 250 thousand would of watched mayweather vs clotty.this tells you clearly that pacquiao is the draw! 700 thousand ppv buys tells you pacqiuao is a huge draw by himself, with out fighting a star!wake up gayweather fans!!

they make it sound like pacquiao sold all those tickets i think it helps that 5 out of the 8 fighters were mexican and that the undeercard future all Texas fighters and finally that tickets were $35 $45 $55 that most expensive ticket was $700
