Mayweather's resume at WW is non existent. The best fighters he's faced at WW or Jr.MW above are an old DLH and an even older Mosley.

Tito is an ATG WW. Floyd has done nothing at WW to even be compared to Tito's resume at WW.
Tito just seems like a stylistic matchup Floyd will win. It's not about who is the better welterweight, Tito obviously, but he most likely couldn't consistently catch Floyd for 12 rounds and would lose the decision.

Tito Puts him to sleep late. Floyd is a featherfisted WW who throws 35 punches per round.

Tito mauls his ass and beats the **** out of him, unless Floyds pull a DLH and runs for the whole 12 rounds.

Floyd doesnt have the height or reach to be effective with his boxing!!

I understand what your saying but Floyd hasn't demonstrated he can do this against a full fledged WW, much less an ATG WW that was Tito.

Who has he fought at WW that would give you that impression? Marge? Clottey? Cotto? Three solid WW's that don't compare to Tito. An over the hill Oscar and a 39 year old Mosley?

I think his lack of ever getting in the ring with these aforementioned fighters speaks volumes about his confidence level at WW. The ones he has gotten in the ring with are way past their primes.

            Guess we agree to disagree.

              So?

Manny fought one fight at 135 against average Diaz.

Doesn't mean he loses to Nate campbell(at 135) or Juan Diaz who are more established at 135 does it.

              This isn't a resume argument.

That plays into it slightly though.

              Its more about styles.

Like Hopkins and Mayweather's style are somewhat similar.

We all know Hopkins boxed Tito's ears off in that fight.

Now Hopkins is a bigger man. But its his style is what bothered Tito the most.

And its not like Tito is a big volume puncher.

He takes his time and chooses his moments. If he can't find them hes in
              trouble.

Tito has a great punchers chance.

honestly people think tito is slow and people can see his punches coming. If that were the case he wouldn't have beaten elusive fighters such as pernell whitaker and camacho sr.

anyways the fight would never happen even if they were in the same weight class at the same time. Floyd wouldnt fight a prime cotto or margarito....so what makes you think he would fight a prime Tito?
