Chambers is a live dog!! the fight with dimitrenko was the test - he adjusted, got inside and did work - all of the haters better tune in, after this fight you will be hearing alot of : " I should of got this fight" - "why didn't hbo pick this fight up" etc... what casual fans do not realize is, that eddie chambers has a chin, he is not going to get hit flush, and his confidence is at a all time high - klitscho's biggest weakness is his chin, but i will give wlad credit for being good at cutting the ring off, throwing a ******* jab, and he does have some rythem - but eddie is going to beat him like he beat dimitrenko who was fighting for the position to fight klitscho - thaT IS WHAT PEOPLE DO NOT REALIZE - dimitrenko was i think alittle bigger than wlad - so i am confident that eddie will pull this one off

After reading and listening to various things from Chambers and his team, I get the impression they didn't just come to pick up a paycheck - they came to win and have a plan in mind.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not picking him to win, but I think we'll see a focused and ready Chambers who could potentially make things interesting while it lasts.

He fought a great fight against Dimitrenko but the difference here is that Klitschko utilizes his size much better, not to mention he's just a better fighter. Chambers will probably have a hard time getting past the jab but when he is able to gain some inside ground Klitschko will likely grab while Dimitrenko would just cover up and allow Chambers to go work. I think Jake Donavon is supposed to post a follow up article he had with Rob Murray and their plan to deal with the clinching though I'm not exactly expecting he'll be giving a lot of details about the strategy.

Another thing to consider is that Chambers froze up in the Povetkin fight and that could be telling as often these type of characteristics don't change and that could happen this time once that first right hand lands but we'll see.

My predictions have been horrible lately, but I'm sensing Wlad-Chagaev all over again. I like Chambers and all, but he doesn't stand a chance. No way.

If Chambers tries to do what Clottey did and just shell up, he's screwed, unless he can time the jab. Otherwise he'll need to use much more lateral movement than he normally does, which I've heard he's been working on.

Damn, look at the difference between their wrists and fists.

Chambers weighed-in at 209-pounds, which is very light and shows the slick boxer is in very good shape. It's only half a pound above his fighting weight for last July's upset of previously undefeated Alexander Dimitrenko.

Wlad is a huge and powerful guy, but it doesn't always work that way. Brit posters of vintage will recall when sculpted muscle man Frank Bruno was KO'd by a flabby Tim Witherspoon. Still, Wlad isn't just muscle, he has pedigree and class.
