Gotta say I'm disappointed in that one. But he tried like hell to get Valuev and Haye. Not a whole lot of people left out there for him to fight. Plus he's getting pretty damn old, he could use an easy fight for a change.

To be honest I think Haye can beat them but i honestly belive he needs a few more fights at heavyweight, he still only has 24 fights total.

Wlads 24th fight he got stopped by Ross Purity in a fight for something called the WBC International heavyweight title, so Haye isn't doing bad by comparrison.

Yeah but Wlad had been fighting as a pro less than 2 years and was only 22, big difference. Came in really light (225) like he'd over trained.

Had it not been for some crappy title, it'd have been a 10 rounder and Wlad would've had the win

It's true Wladimir has a good left hook and uppercutt. It just makes it more confusing that he doesn't use them a lot. Like it or not, he is a jab-straight right hand fighter most of the time. If he put a left hook here and there, he would be much more exciting to watch. A bit more of body punching too would be nice. It's no secret why the dude isn'T on HBO anymore when Vitali is...

Manny instructs him to rely on the jab, as he did Lennox. Wlad boxes beautifully, he's NOT boring at all to anyone with a genuine appreciation of the sport.

HBO does show a lot of boring fighters, like Bernard Hopkins for example.

The truth: his fight with Eddie is not on HBO because they don't want the public to see Wlad KO another American.
