His 154 stint was nothing to write home about either.

Because, a JMW fight does not a belong in WW resume.

That is like saying why people ignore Pac history in his last 4 fights while trashing his LW history...

            It makes no sense...

Well he only fought there once against a past prime Oscar...

And if they don't like Floyd they'll trash just about anything he's done...

it was one fight , why was he fighting a junior middleweight when he had not fought one of the current top 5 WW's at the time, there was cotto, williams, mosley, and margarito. junior middle weight wasn't that good at the time, the WW opponents were much tougher competition. spinks was the #1 junior middle at the time and he had been knocked out by zab who was like a #6 ranked WW. I don't mind the fight against de la hoya because who wouldn't take it, you make a ton of money, but resume wise there were much better opponents out there. and after that he fought hatton at WW, notice how he was kind of avoiding the top 5 in the division he was the champ in. the only reason i don't like mayweather is because he deprived the fans of seeing him against the toughest competition at the time. and bottom line is, if he had fought and beat a couple of those guys, it would have proved how great he was from lightweight to WW. right now for me he has only proved to be a great lightweight.
