You throw punches from positions which you are taught not to throw punches from. Which creates weird angles. He is unorthodox because he is a southpaw. lol
He throws himself off balance and throws so many punches, I am not surprised by this and this shouldn't be anything special but it will get blown way the hell out of proportion.

Throwing punches like you were taught not to as an amateur. Basically swinging wildly. Only works for guys fast enough not to get hit for doing it. That's why most guys stick to text book stuff. You can only get away with it if you are faster than the guy you are fighting. If not you will eat a counter every time.

I don't think Pacquiao throws punches from weird angles though, he throws punches from a southpaw stance at a high speed that's what gives people problems. It's a misconception.
Roy Jones Jr threw punches from weird angles. You would literally have no idea where his hooks were coming from.
