Mosley v Mayorga: Fix or genuine KO?

I just watched that again and it truly was one brutal KO by Mosley with a stinging left hook but I have to wonder how Mayorga just stood there. I mean surely a pro boxer would know when to move back - even when dazed from a prio KD? You would urely if you knew seconds were on the clock right? a second even?

I'm just curious to what you all think. I think Mosley genuinely caught him offguard but there's still a small element of "that's almost too convinient" for it to be true for me.

I dunno, just seems weird :S

One thing I do know is the new Mosley is an agressive vicious striking machine that will take a punch to throw one and he is much bigger than Mayweather and after reviewing this fight I'm not 100% sure Mayweather can bully Mosley like he did Hatton. Moreso than that nobody has ever KO'd Mosley so how will floyd keep him off him?

he was still ****ed up from the kd..no one would take a monster ko from mosley for money. They would rather get hit with a soft punch and fall

I sometimes think the same, but in the end it'll go down in history as one of those isolated freak moments in boxing which people will remember for decades to come. Mayorga was messed up from that first KD and was ready to go - he couldn't even get his hands up in time before Shugs came charging in.

At the time I was convinced there was something untoward going on. I'm still unsure. I remember Mosley looking quite embarrassed after the fight, that didn't look right either.

Fix? We talking about Mayorga here a guy who leaves his chin open and invites you to hit him with power shots for entertainment. No its not fix he just got laid out flat.

Mayorga is one of those Machismo type guys that wants to show he ain't hurt even when he is. That's why he stood there.

It looked pretty real to me. Besides, I don't think Mayorga is the type to take a dive.
