Black people who are you rooting for

What were the rational of fans rooting for either fighters? Were their class issues involved? Were styles perfered?

Like people who were from the barrio(hood) were going for Morales, people from the burbs of Mexico were going for Barrera. It is what I kinda got from it. But, I only asked a few people though... I think in the rematch some Mexicans were turned off at Barrera cuz he took a cheap shot a press confrence and backed up so quick.

But, the few people I asked I got it was divided down the middle... I wish at the time I was at a forum like this so I can better understanding. More people could of shared there opinion.

As a proud black man I will be rooting for Floyd Mayweather Jr. I enjoy watching pure boxing in its finest form and brother Floyd is among the best in the world.

That's a great point, Most people from Tijuana (My family included) Hated MAB and called him names like "chilango" because he was from Mexico D.F. I don't understand how Mosley doesn't have that big of a fanbase when he comes from LA!
