Paulie fought a prime undefeated Cotto that was at the peak of his career.Not a war torn Cotto that was damaged goods.
Paulie fought Hatton with a trainer(Buddy Mcgirt) that wanted him to fight on the inside,which goes against Malignaggi's whole style.Paulie is an outside boxer who uses the ring to his advantage.McGirt training him to fight on the inside was totally the wrong strategy especially for a come foward aggressive style fighter in Hatton.

I agree with you bro. Its clear evident that Paulie is fighting better ever since he ditched Buddy.

I feel that most of the people shouting out,oh look what happened to Malignaggi against Hatton or Cotto is just a cheap shot at pointing out something without looking at the whole picture and is in no shape or form how to judge the upcoming fight with Khan.
IMO the best way to look at an upcoming fight is to look at how the two fighters compare style wise.I mean come on,if you think about it,Paulie is the one with the better list of fighters on his resume.That being said,i dont sit here and say because of that,Paulie will wipe the floor with Khan.I dont sit here and comment on Khan being KO'd by a nobody and judge Khan's fight with Malignaggi by that.
The fight with Malignaggi and Khan will be a competitive fight thats for sure.IMO if Paulie comes with his A-game,his boxing ability will give Khan problems all night.Khan is stronger but is nowhere near as slick a boxer as Malignaggi.

Paulie walks it? To me talking to the talk and walking the walk means you back up your words. He went into trashtalk overdrive for his two biggest fights, Cotto and Hatton. He lost big both times.

You know what, he was in there trying to win. He stuck in there with a broken jaw VS Cotto. Cotto hit very hard at 140, but had a fragile chin.

Hatton gave him a hard beating, he still kept in there and was pissed when his corner stopped it.

Paulie never gave up, no matter how badly he was losing, knowing that he had no chance to win the fight on the scorecards, and especially since he was never going to KO either.
