    BoxingScene.com has learned that Timothy Bradley's HBO debut has been shifted from June 26 to June 19. Bradley, the current WBO junior welterweight champion, will be moving up to welterweight to fight undefeated Carlos Abregu (29-0, 23KOs). The date was switched due to a scheduling conflict with the Agua Caliente Casino in Rancho Mirage, California. HBO had previously reserved the date of June 19 for Chad Dawson vs. Jean Pascal, which got pushed to August 14.

      I hope this ain't the only fight they plan on showing, they need to see if they Can get that Devon/spafadora fight on as well on the same night if they still plan on going that route instead of with zab,

              I really hope Bradley isn't giving up to much size. I know he fought as high as 152 as an amateur, but that was just the amateurs. 4 inches in height, 3 inches in reach. Abregu is a career WW with WW power.

              Bradley will need his speed to be top end for that fight. Hardest fight of his career IMO.

                          didnt abregu just fight on shobox,now bradleys fighting this guy in a hbo mainevent give me a break. Devon is #1 at 140

                              Based on what exactly? They both fought Witter. Bradley beat Witter in England when Witter was the champ. Alexander fought him later for a vacant strap.

                              Are you saying Juan Urango > Cherry, Holt, Campbell, Peterson, and Abregu?

                                  Not a fan of this fight. Bradley should be defending his title. The division is deep enough to find somebody for an easy defense.
