Believe me buddy...nobody shares those sentiments more than filipinos. Not just sports heroes....but heroes in general. The reason he is so endeared by his country is because he breaks the mold.

The common assumption for Pacquiao and steroids is that Ariza is the 1 supplying him. But Amir Khan and Vanes Martirosyan are on the exact same workout program, diet, and supplements Pacquiao is on. Neither Khan or Martirosyan are on going dominant KO streaks and i have yet to hear 1 floyd fan or pachater accuse either Khan or Martirosyan of steroids. Either Ariza is seriously holding out and ripping the other 2 fighters off or Pacquiao is simply clean.

I don't think pacquiao has been in many wars. The only wars I could think of he was in was with the 1st morales fight, two JMM fights, and recently with Cotto, Clottey not so much. The rest of his oppositions, he pretty much obliterated I believe. So being on countless wars reasoning is pretty much out of the window if you ask me. Pacquiao is still a fresh fighter.
