Anyone notice Pac slowing down? Lou Dibella definitely noticed it.

not only that...but what most people who made the observations had one fatal flaw:
• SPEED isn't necessary when an opponent isn't punching.
Meaning speed doesn't need to be applied because there's no urgency to. Pacquiao is basically keeping a pace of volume punches so as not to get tired for the whole 12 rounds.
He wasn't challenged and so there's no need for the speed.
In general, sure he "slowed" (that's relative) down a bit from this 130 lbs days...but he went up in weight considerably and in the WW division his quickness and speed is very much in the "extraordinary" level.Comment

Can any one tell me what peds can enhance stamina and is undetectable by urine and blood test after a fight?Comment

he still fast as **** but he did look a LITTLE slower against Clottey maybe this fight was a test to see how he whud perform without his PED'sComment

I think he is slower because he has gotten bigger but I don't think it's because he is reaching the end of his career. Plus, he hasn't really been in any wars since the 2nd Marquez fight and after that he dominated almost everyone he has fought. I'm sure those easy fights have added some more years to his career.
Regardless, I think he retires after PBF, which could happen early next year.Comment

slow down on what?
You can make a case Cotto, Hatton , De La Hoya and Clottey never won 1 round against Pacquiao and see that slowing down?
Pac is putting a clinic and a shutout on all of these Welterweights liek they are some sort of bums.Comment

I made a thread about this in the week leading up to the clottey fight. Just from his workout videos in the clottey camp he definitely looked slower than he did for the cotto camp.Comment

1.) hes matured into a very patient fighter, gone will be the days when he attacks and swing wildly. hes becoming more like a counter puncher with his own workrate.he stalks his prey more intelligently that pounce on them wildly. id say hes more measured now and deliberate, he sets traps before going for the kill unlike before when he goes for the kill that foes falling into traps is only incidental.
2.) he is heavier than he used to. he cannot be expected to bounce and attack his foes like before with the added weight on his upper body.
3.) he is becoming technically adept at applying his speed and power that he is now efficiently moving and effectively fighting in the ring. that slowing down can also be called a graceful economy of movement
the way pacquiao is fighting now should not be seen as slowing down in fact it should be consider on the contrary. hes becoming more deadlier, he is more cunning, imagine a young lion who is earlier runs around after its prey expending unnecessary energy becoming matured hunter stalking its prey and pouncng at the right moment killing its prey in the most economical of movement. thats a matured technically adept fighting machine called pac-man.Comment

He has slowed down but its more to do with tactics than him slowing down due to wear and tear, He isnt worn out because he hasnt been involve in wars for the last 3 years or so, The last war he was involve in was in the first morales fight and the second JMM fight, Against cotto he beat up cotto and took a few punches for decent pleasure.Comment
