I think this is a great idea for a fight. It would be like Hopkins-Jones if Jones hadn't gotten KO'ed last December. Both are old, probably battle worn, and too small for the Welterweight divisions so its a logical choice of opponents. Its also a matchup people have wanted for years. Some say Morales ducked Marquez and others say Marquez wasn't relevant enough when Morales campaigned at 126.

He'd beat him at 130+ in my opinion, but at 126 it would be close. I'd still pick Marquez to win, but I just wanna know what the hell happened when he fought Chris John! I mean how do you go from overwhelming Pacquiao (I scored it 8 rounds to 4, or 113-112 Marquez) to losing to Chris frickin John in your next fight? I hope that was an off night...

marquez would take this fight easy, one of the greatest counter-pucnhes in the world. I really think morales should hang em up, lets see how he does in the near future.
