Maidanna: he is too scared to enforce his match with Khan. he wanta to build up his name as does GBP before fighting Khan and making more money

only people Khan should be fighitng is paxman, mayweather, margarito or mosley. if he cant get those fights then i guess bradly/alexander wouldnt be bad

Prescott is yesterdays news. If he was still winning maybe, but it would be a huge step back.

You gusy gotta remember that Amir is a gold medalist and a superstar. If he takes a dangerous fight it's going to be against a big name. Maidana and Bradley will get a piece if their star power rises. Have they had to work harded? Of course, but business is business and all eyes are on Khan.

Paul is both a well known guy and the toughest challenge Amir has faced so far. Hes looked really good since he brought in a new trainer, and personally i've wanted this fight for a while.

If Khan KO's Paulie, something that Cotto and Hatton didnt do, he defniitely earns the respect and the seed is planted to become a superstar in America. If Paulie pulls off the upset, his comeback trail has come full circle and he's not only world champ, but he'll be a legit star.

      Matchup is perfect.

i used to want khan to fight bredis but i do realise that there would be no point. Bredis is a good continental fighter that landed the punch of his life on a weak chin. It happens people get kod this is boxing. Maidana is a high risk low profit fight for GBP so wont happen untill maidana has a bigger name. For what its worth khan boxes maidanas ears off but maidana has a punchers chance untill khans arm is raised. Khan needs to be fighting pauli and fighters alike good world level fighters but never going to set the world alight for the next two years. Its way to early to talk about pac, SSM and floyd.

Maidanna is the mandatory, why doesnt he enforce it??

no-one forced him yo accept 3 fight delay, he as much as GBP wants to build up hisname before taking on the champ

            Prescott...umm no

Maidana...yes it should happen in the next fight or the fight after...my gut feeling is that maidana will probably lose before the fight gets made because to be honest with you he isn't very good

No he is doing the right thing, he is fighting good fighters who aren't huge punchers whilst roach is still refining his technique and style, mainly his defense. Paulie is probably the first truly world class operator still in his prime that khan has fought, (Kotelnik fringe world class/Euro-level) Paulie is the biggest name at 140 who will give khan the kind of recognition that he is looking for on his first appearance on hbo. Paulie is a good fighter with really good skills and good hand speed. He will punish khan for the technical mistakes that he makes without those mistake having fatal consequences. It will be a good berometer of just how good he is at this point in his career, and probably tell roach how far or close he is to putting him in with Bradley or Alexander.

It is absolutely the perfect fight for Khan at this point, and in my opinion it will be pretty competitive but paulie will not be able to deal with khan's workrate imo.

I have a feeling khan-ortiz will happen next if they both win, victor doesn't look like the same fighter he was before he lost, he looks tentative, very hittable, and doesn't have his confidence back. I think khan would knock him out if they fought today

He needs to fight a decent power puncher, the problem is, if say for example he fought Maidana, outboxed him, maidana didn't lay a glove on him and Khan schooled him. People would say "Khan never slugged it out with him, he's a fraud"

                -Fight Marcos Maidana
-Fight Either Timothy Bradley or Devon Alexander after Breidis Prescott and Maidana.

if he does this and win against guys like Prescott and Maidana then he will most probably redeem himself and maybe lose the chinny title. I think though since his lost to prescott though he has become a better fighter and Is now a W.B.A Light WelterWeight Champion which i think is great achievement since hes young but unless you know does them things he will be very underrated and people wont respect him as a true champ and he will always have the following name chinny unless he Rematches Prescott and then Take up the Hard hitters like Marcos Maidana and then fight big names like Bradley or Alexander...But overall amir khan is a good fighter and i wish him all the best for his career...

He has a contract to duck Maidana for a year.

Bradley would kick his ass and he is also at least a year away.

It's like talking about Haye fighting the Klitschkos when everyone knows he is thrilled to be fighting Ruiz, Valuev and the Chagaev-Meehn winner before he does so.

Making threads about what fighters clearly won't even attempt to do until 2011 is a waste of time.

I know people want him to fight better fighters, but they need to build his confidence and keep working on his skills. GBP can make a lot more money in the future if they put Khan in the ring with the right fighters.

He's not ready for Maidana or Bradley. He should fight Prescott very soon so people can stop talking about his fight with him and move on.

Khan is already making a step in the right direction by fighting Paulie. I know people are picking Paulie to win, but I have a feeling Khan is going to win.

Khan's got fast hands but Malignaggi good boxing skill as well .Malignaggi still managed to cut Diaz in one of them fights tho with an uppercut. He could land flush on Khan on more than one occasion or Khan could have too much speed and power .

he doesnt need to rematch prescott imo

he would get a lot more respect if he fought maidana or any big puncher and i hope he does so after malignaggi
