Khan calls Hatton one dimensional.

I got nothing against the man, he still has the balls to get in the ring which takes alot, I just dont like the fact he talks about another fighter when hes avoided a fighter but still wants to be called a "champion"... Last time i checked champions fought whoever stepped up to take what they got but overall Khan is still a young fighter with plenty of time to make up for alot soComment

That is VERY VERY TRUE sadly... Khan was even laughed at his OWN countrymen when he got KO'd... They even made racial slurs... Now they're talking **** for the fact he's leaving for America lol, those people don't know what they wantComment

It begins.
Khan has probably been told to throw some jabs at Ricky in order to build up a potential fight. It's pretty logical that Hatton will be Khan's number one target after Malignaggi. Heck, the fight negotiations might even be underway. I think there's more to this than Khan trash talking Paulie. Both him and Hatton are under GBP, and GBP would love that fight here in the UK. I don't think it's a million miles away and perhaps one of the incentives GBP offered Khan to fight with them. As with Warren a fight with Hatton would never have happened.
Hatton's career might be on "hiatus" until 16th May (as his only viable opponent is tied up until then), when Khan calls out Hatton. In the mean time Hatton loses some weight ready to hit training for a September bout at the Reebok/Eastlands or even Wembley.
I'm one for conspiracy theories me....this recent Hatton retirement could just be a ruse, in order to give Ricky an excuse no to fight until Khan calls him out...and the fact he'll be coming out of retirement to face Khan would also make the fight just a little bit bigger.Last edited by Grimmer; 03-17-2010, 05:24 PM.Comment

I think some fans are racist, but not all.
There is tension between English and ******s in the UK.
He gets hate because he has had a lot fo hype over other fighters, but he also was the only guy entered into our Olypic team, and got a silver, so that was where the hype was from.
He is chinny and has been talking about champs since pretty much the beginning. He was talking Nate Campbell, Katsidis, Cassamoyar when they were on top, but he was facing no names and getting hurt.
A lot of boxing fans cheer for him, but still quite a few boo and especially when he got KO'd.
There are haters everwhere though. Amir has done a good thing by moving to the US without distractions but also away from any hate.
Listening to him talk, he seems quite a shy guy, and a guy that would feel hurt and people could get under his skin.Comment
