Why do you think Mosley can't beat Mayweather?

My main reason is footwork and movement.

Floyd has great footwork and movement and Shane is flatfooted.

If this fight happened in Mosley's prime I'd say 50/50 because Floyds movement will always give him trouble but now that Mosley's old as **** it amplifies the advantage even more.

Mosley can blast him out of there if he lands that left hook of his, but outside of that I see a precise 9-3 type u.d.

Why do you think Mosley can't win?

    Footwork I agree with...

My main thing is HEAD MOVEMENT.

He tends to keep his gloves at his chest or right below his chin and he doesn't move his head.

If Margarito was landing straight jabs on him what exactly do you think Floyd is going to do?

My main thing is Mosleys gameplan.

I feel like going in there and almost implementing Hattons gameplan wouldn't be a bad thing, because it would be MOSLEY in there bullrushing and making it ugly.

It Mosley stands there and boxes.. it's over before it started.

Well I don't think he can win because if the hype of Floyd isn't just hype and he really is great than Mosley in mu opinion will just get outboxed from start to finish. Winky, Forrest and Cotto did it , so I would Imagine a guy that is considered better then all of them will have no problem beating him. However I am not yet convinced that Mayweather is a great WW, so that is my reasoning for thinking Mosley has a shot to win, and I know Shane will want it really bad and he can give problems to very talented fighter. I hope it is a great fight.

I can agree with this. Like I said, can't cut the ring against Cotto, sure as hell won't be able to against Mayweather.

I think he should do what Hatton did, hopefully with a bit more skill and of course he is a decent amount bigger and stronger than hatton, so I think if he does that he may have a shot. Hatton did win a couple rounds with that style and he was smaller than Floyd, Shane should be bigger where that kind of style is much more useful.

Mosley can't fight like Hatton. Just because he's bigger doesn't mean he fight the same style of Hatton. Mosley would embarassed if he tries bullrushing Mayweather.

That's what I mean... I think if you replace Hatton with Mosley in there it's a closer fight...

Bigger, stronger, faster, smarter... and can definitely take a punch better...

If he implements Hattons strategy I could actually see a closer fight on the scorecards.

If he boxes.. and stands there.. and waits.

              Forget it.

Nobody is saying Mosley fights like Hatton.

We are saying it wouldn't be a bad strategy, because he did have some success with it... but he wasn't big enough.. he smothered a lot of his own punches.. and he couldn't take the punishment back... All things I think Mosley can do better.

I think he loads up his punches too much and Mayweather will see them coming a mile off every time. And as ree****yaluss said his head movement is not really effective enough to stop Mayweather landing impressive looking counters all night.
