After Manny Pacquiao pulled off his history making win to capture the WBO welterweight title from Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, thousands of Pacquiao's fans in the crowd began to chant "we want Floyd." The fans want Manny Pacquiao to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr. next. Pacquiao has a tentative return scheduled for the month of March 2010.

Pacquiao was asked for his thoughts and he said it was up to promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank to make the fight. The hardest part of making Mayweather-Pacquiao will be the negotiations. Both fighters want more than 50% of the take. Only of them can get it.

"It's up to my promoter Arum to negotiate that fight. I'm going to take a vacation and spend time with my family," Pacquiao said.

Trainer Freddie Roach made it clear on who he wants next.

Pac on the other hand wasn't in top gear VS Clottey. He matches Floyd on a lot of stuff like speed, stamina, footwork etc...

I'm not saying Pac is going to win, but both have not faced anyone as good as each other.
