Also, since when as he known for his defense? There was not much head movement because there were not many punches coming back at him for cause to move his head much.
Well he is the "fighter of the decade,"
Surely he should have a good defense right?

i don't think being named "fighter of the decade" would require having good defense. i think it goes by accomplishments in the ring.

Its not what he is known for and is often hit cleanly by world class opponents when he has fought them.

PPL don't get excited about a guy who is going to block, slip, grab, and run for much of the fight.

Its not the most tactical game plan but with his attributes it gets the job done for the most part and generally leaves fans entertained.

Well then you are eventually gonna run into trouble,
Unless Manny tightens up his defense and starts to move his head Mayweather will make mince meat of him, Once he gets his timing right

Either that or Floyd doesn't have enough pop to back up or even discourage Pac from coming in and Floyd gets out worked on the cards or can't handle the pressure and gets stopped......we just have to wait and see who can make their game plan stick if the fight ever happens.

Everyone knows they picked Clottey because he is a good defense boxer,
With a good right hand, Okay is defense is nothing alike nor is his boxing style,
But who else in the Welterweight division is like Floyd?
They where hardly gonna pick a fight with Steve Forbes......

Floyd wants to be pressured he wants to be backed up,
Manny needs to try keep Floyd in the middle of the ring......

In boxing match, with the jab as the primary weapon? No no, Floyd want that kind of moderate paced chess match.

Pac's game plan isn't the most technical and he will have to probably eat some jabs and lead rights to make work but he needs to keep it close and make it a fight I think.

I don't know about whether the article says it's true (mere observation, nothing conclusive yet) but, Clottey's just standing or walking the whole time. I think Pac's just keeping the pace and not to overwork himself.

Clottey may have waited for that lucky punch (his counter is always good, but not enough) but in the end, Pac wasn't exactly needing an oxygen tank.
