The last time I checked he was ranked 3rd by the IBF, 2nd by the WBO, and 6th by *********. There is a pretty weak PPV card on July 23, and Wlad is looking to fight next in late July or early August. He could fight Ruiz on that card, but that obviously won't happen. Ruiz will probably not fight at all or he could fight Donald, TOS, Austin, or Beck who are so much more deserving than Wlad.

He should fight Monte Barret he is #1 contender for the IBF.
Barrett vs. Rahman is for the WBC interim title.

If Barrett and Rahman are already fighting, one of them will loose and get knocked down in the rankings leaving Wladimir at #2. If big brother Vitali beats the winner of the Barrett/Rahman fight, they should get knocked down leaving Wladimir at #1. Does that scenario make sense or am I missing something?

Assuming Wladimir fights and wins between now and then.
Hell, that's as clear as a mountain stream! Wlad vs Byrd, bring it on! Then he go after Brewster w/belt in hand. Wlad w/ IBF & WBO, Vit w/ WBA & WBC! Sounds like a dream come true for the Klitchkos.

I heard Tua got hurt in training as his June fight was cancelled.

The post was in regards to the IBF. I guess your saying I'm missing something in that scenario? Your so creative in your reply, lets see if you are just as talented with your left brain and tell me what I missed.

No, man, you got me all wrong. That's the information I was looking for. I appreciate it. I'd love to see Wlad fight Byrd, and in this scenario, it not only makes sense, but is justified in this crazy, multi-dimensional world we live in that allows for four heavyweight champs. I just have a habit of looking at things from an absurdist point of view. Don't take it personal, it wasn't meant that way. What weight you fight at?
