I cant stand People that assume when another person is at their best or not. Miguel has been in 36 fights , has 75% KO and has only been in 2 battles. He lost two the worlds best , and looked better than Clottey De la Hoya and Hatton put together. He actually won a clear round , and made 2 or 3 competitive. And u still believe he is past his prime. Pacquiao is too much to handle for many fighters. Miguel is a hard hitter/brawler. Just because his style has not been the favorite to win and he lost does not mean he is not on his prime. Cotto gave Margarito all he could handle for 6 rounds. And all of a sudden , Cottos face swells up. What is that a sign of. And he did not struggle against Clottey , why dont people understand that , Clottey doesnt let ppl hit him. After Hatton got ko'd by Floyd,he almost got stopped again by Lazcano.His next fight was against Paulie Malignaggi, who doesn't hit hard enough to make anyone respect him.
After Cotto got busted up and stopped against Margarito,many people had questions if he would be the same.
He fought Michael Jennings (a sub-par opponent)for a vacant belt and still didn't look as confident,then fought Clottey in a fight that most people thought he lost.He was certainly slipping.Unofficially, Cotto has lost 3 out of his last 4 fights-2 by stoppage...sound "in prime" to you??
