The nego went south because there was no agreement to the cut off date..the company giving the test has guidelines and its random up until 24 hrs of fight. Floyd can say what ever he wants after the fight was called off.

He said blood weakens him and he offered 24 days.
What you should be asking yourself is this:
If a 2 day blood test weakened him what was wrong with a 14 day blood test. Rather then trying to nitpick at the thread.

let's just call it what it is.....manny doesn't like the random part of drug testing!

i agree with posters here - it is amazing how people conveniently forget the facts behind this issue....
Firstly Team Pac refused to budge from 30 days full stop, then GBP exposed Pac by showing him taking blood 24 days before the Hatton fight on 24/7...
It was only at that stage did Team Pac move down to 24 days - they had to coz there was no argument to insist on more days than they did against Hatton....
So they entered negotiations / mediation with 24 days and people were acting like this was a comprimise - it was nothing of the sort..... Floyd finally offered 14 days and they still refused - negotiations broke down.
So after going backwards and forwards with various reasons for why Manny cant have his blood taken (scared of needles, energy drainage, superstition) they then shot themselves in the foot by not only taking blood 19 days before the fight.... but also came into the gym the VERY NEXT day and apparently clapped up a whole bunch of sparring partners... (so much for being drained then)
The story in question is actually here on Boxingscene... im at work so cant fish it out for you but will happily do so if challenged....
Whether you think Pac is doping or not - the stories simply dont add up - FACT

Hmm, all i recall first is Floyd syaing 14 days, Pacquiaos side saying 24. Then a month or so after we start getting fed with it was Pac who said 14 days?! wierd.
Also in the video where he has his blood drawn...so much for being scared of needles. DUDE IS LOOKING AT IT! AND WATCHING THE BLOOD BE TAKEN! WTF.
I never wanted to be on this bandwagon that Pac is on something....but this **** is su****ious now.
