    Floyd PPV King??

The only reason Floyd does well on PPV is because of the other guy he is fighting. I Floyd fought Clottey it would not do well in PPV numbers. He set a record, but it was actually Oscar who set the record. I don’t event think Floyd has fans. The people that do watch him are people who want to see him loose. I’d rather see Manny throw 1000 punches on a guy who covers up….then see Floyd pick shots and run with a smaller opponent (JMM) for 12 rounds. That is boring.

This is true. Juan Manuel Marquez is definitely a seven-figure pay-per-view star.

I honestly don't think that they understand this. Research has been done and Floyd is very popular in minority communities and they do buy his fights in droves. I'm black and I get them.

Mosley is likable and a great fighter. Mayweather doesn't mind playing the villain. And despite a myth that is reported on the Internet from time to time, not everyone watches Mayweather fights in hopes that he will lose. He has a fan base in the urban American market that boxing hasn't seen since Mike Tyson
The numbers don't lie: Floyd Mayweather has blown up into a crossover superstar.

Floyd and Zab nearly did 400,000. that is alot in itself.
