Yeah, if boxing worked like that, we could say Lucas is going to beat Andrade up

He says he missed the atmosphere surrounding a fight, ring walk, the fans, etc. Of course it has a lot to do with Bute's great popularity.

As for the money, I hope you don't mean he's millionnaire, cause he's not. He doesn't need boxing to live, but he's not rich.

Well that's what I mean, he doesn't need boxing to live...isn't he living on his money as a promoter though?

But, this is the worst match-up for him. Andrade is a guy who will pressure him all night, who will never step back and who has an iron chin. I would understand if they would have picked a B- fighter who is technically good and fast, but not a fighter who has the tool to damage Lucas bad.

I hope him the best and I hope he won't get hurt,
I have no idea what went through his head.

          Maybe a train.

He sure is confident to take such a fight.

Good post. I think I may be overly sentimental though, I just don't want to see the old fella get hurt. I also would have been happy had Arturo Gatti retired after the first Ward fight after having taken so many flush shots...

He owns a restaurant and is a promoter, yes (Interbox).

I believe he owns a ''La cage au sport'', I have no idea if Champs dowtown happens to be the same thing or another restaurant he might own.

Andrade is not Abraham or Kessler guys ! In fact Andrade is the perfect guy for a guy like Lucas to take a risk. We will see if Lucas still has the timing, if he does he will give a good fight to Andrade.
