everyone at my school liked stuff like NWA, Geto Boys, Public Enemy, DJ Quik etc so I listened to some of that.

but my favorite music was still metal, and back then Motley Crue, GNR, and all that was still called metal. But I liked the heavy stuff too.

alternative got big my senior year but by then I was listening to all kinds of stuff like 70's punk and psychedelic rock
