Comments Thread For: Margarito: "I am Ready To Fight Pacquiao Anywhere"

Unless a deal is reached with the winner of the upcoming clash between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley, former welterweight champion Antonio Margarito appears to be the frontrunner for a possible fight with WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao in November. Margarito went to Texas over the weekend to scout Pacquiao as he dominated Joshua Clottey before 51,000 fans at Cowboys Stadium. [Click Here To Read More]

Pacquaio was exposed in this fight agaisnt Clottey. he landed only 20% of his punches and came out of the fight more damaged than Clottey. Mayweather will pick Pacquaio apart considering his defense is far more superior than Clottey's and he's the best counterpuncher in the sport of boxing. If Clottey had increased his punch output he could've walked away with the upset. However it's not in his nature to be the busier fighter, which we've witnessed in the past. Money would and will dominate Pac-Man.

Sad the Pac-Man camp acting like this. They don't want to face Mayweather if he gets pass Mosley. Why would they? He (Manny) is their golden goose. Arum can milk Manny for a few more years or so before they eventually want to face Mayweather for the biggest pay day of all.

              I don't even care anymore.

Mayweather/Pacquiao is NOT happening in 2010. I guaran-damn-tee it. This was Arum's plan all along.
