EA sports can't afford Mayweather. He shouldn't have to share his name and likeness amongst lesser foes. Mayweather should Have and deserves his own video game a la Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.

i dont agree with that i love fnr4 but i saw a vid with the game designers and they said that floyd never priced himself out they just cant get in contact with him...

Its called Fight Night for a reason.

They want fighters in their game, not accusers who are unwilling to fight the best.

Plus, they couldn't find the right type of code to implement an excuses cheat for Floyd to get out of tough fights, just like in real life.

a mayweather boxing game would be the equivalent of nba street (not a completely bad thing).
why cant he just give in a little and be part of THE definitive boxing game?
any exposure is good exposure.

Fight Night 4 is hella weak but anyway you know Money Mayweather wanted too much paper for his name.

i think it has more to do with the group licensing contracts. technically, mayweather isnt part of a promotional company (top rank, GBP, etc.).
i dont think EA wanted to pay the hefty licensing fee for just one fighter.

maybe i hope hes in some future dlc or fnr5 though i want to fight the greats with floyd

Because he's the King of Boxing! Kings stand atop others, not amongst them. Why should The King's name and likeness be an option
against the likes of all 3 "Sugars", Hearns, Pacquiao, Tyson, etc? Mayweather should be the only option!
