If that was floyd fighting clottey, i'll be shock if floyd could land more than 12 punches in the whole 12 rounds.Comment

Mayweather and Clottey would have been a snooze fest and even less excitingPac was doing all he could against a fighter you cannot look great againstComment

Pac said he let Clottey him hit just to get him to open up
“Ayaw sumuntok eh, kaya nagpapasuntok na din ako, para bumukas (He wouldn’t throw punches so I let him hit me so he’d open up),” Pacquiao said.
Did you see his face?Comment

While watchign the fight, it just seemed to me that pacquiao did not really know what to do.
He wasn't pushing clottey back or hurting clottey and when that plan failed he just seemed lost. Couple of times he would just stand with his gloves resting against clottey's thinking WTF do i do now.
Anyone else get that feeling???
That's what I said from the beginning. If you don't have an eye for details, you wont see it. Not everyone has an eye for the details.
He looked like he never saw a defense before. I don't completely think it's just that because it could also possibly be Clottey not punching back, which would be weird because you expect to get punches thrown back at you.
I don't agree with your second post though. Pacquiao will do fine against that. His problems stem from great boxers who can counter. If someone can time him perfectly, because his rhythm is pretty easy to see. They can get powerful right straights down the pipe every time. A well timed left hook will get him too because when Pacquiao leads with the left, he leaves his hands down. You have to match him with speed, or start your counter before he prepares his punch. Because matching him speed for speed will be damn near impossible.Comment

Manny got paid millions for a sparring session. I don't think he looked lost. He was wondering why Clottey wasn't throwing. If I'm letting my hands go and my opponent is just standing there with his hands up, I'm going to wonder why he's in the ring.Comment
