He promised to give the fans a much better action-packed fight against Shane Mosley on May 1. [Click Here To Read More]

      • To be honest I think Pacquiao and Floyd already have an agreement to face one another. If they fought in March it wouldn't have the intensity that it's going to have now.

Business wise it makes too much sense. Once the two of them fight each other, the amount they make on ppv will diminish greatly as the winner of that fight will answer questions for this generations number 1 somewhat. Their fights after this won't gain the same interest so it makes sense to cash in on the other big pay days before they meet one another.

I don't think Mayweather is being completely serious as Pacquiao has shown more in other fights. What Pac did against Clottey was one dimension but it wasn't his only dimension it was simply the gameplan executed and it worked.

        • LMFAO @ Non-stop action.. I havent see Floyd in a nonstop action fight since the Castillo fight.. doubt we will ever see that again.. But i look at it this way.. Pac has beaten 2 full blown welterweights in their primes.. Floyd has yet to fight someone in the welterweight division that is any kind of threat.. Props to Pac for actually fighting welters.. Maybe Floyd can finally prove someone wrong and entertains us in the Mosely Fight...

            • Mayweather is a fool if he believes that. Also, if Floyd was fighting an opponent like Clottey, there's no way in hell they'd sell 50,000 plus tickets. People know when they pay to see a Pac fight they're going to see fireworks. Saturday night was slightly disappointing, but it wasn't Pac's fault; he put on a clinic. Clottey is known as a very competent defensive fighter and he had 'earmuffs' on all night, gloves protecting his face. Kind of reminded me of Taylor versus Winky Wright. Wright's defence was virtually impenetrable so Jermain just threw punches; few got through, but he was punching hard and thus the punches were somewhat effective, even hitting the gloves. Mayweather is a safety-first fighter.

              • whenever clottey threw he landed <- so that means floyd's gonna PWN pac? how many times did clottey throw a punch and how many punches does floyd throw on average? cause everytime clottey punched he just gets outlanded. for floyd to win on points he needs to throw waaaay more punches than he ever threw in his career.

and as to people saying pac will have a harder time landing on floyd because he had a hard time finding clottey's chin, clottey has a tighter defense than floyd, its not better but its harder to find his chin with his guard up like that

agreed. floyd and many people are overlooking shane.
hell judah dominated the first 4 rounds against mayweather and even got a knockdown, unfortunately he turned into himself for the second half of the fight as usual.

Yeah it could be but I think it's a gamble they both took. I mean going into any fight there is a somewhat risk involved.

Ask Roy Jones jr about Green. Lol.
