    After Pacquiao - Mayweather

what's going to happen to NSB? it's the last rivalry of the fans on this one. also what's up with boxing next year if the fight happens this year? there's no big event for boxing.

They will just choose new fighters and continue on with the same arguments.

Boxing is just a revolving door, someone new just steps in. In 2018 it will be like Donaire versus Bradley, and WW2 will be loose.

im guesing if the fight did happen there will be a re-match clause in the negotiations aswell. and there will be fights to sort the P4P list such as mosley vs pacquaio or mayweather vs cotto. and their are up and coming fighters to look out for in the next year or so.

What happens to SB after Pac-Floyd?

Everyone comes out of the closet as UFC fans.

If Mayweather goes on to beat Mosley then Pac. Look for Pac to rematch or fight mosley. Floyd will likey fight one of all those great 140 lbers. Whoever comes out on top of those guys is going to be thought as the guy to beat loyd and will want the money and challenge him.

There are lots of fighters out there that are under the radar to casual fans but after/if Mayweather happens to beat Pacquiao, Khan/Bradley/Berto/Valero/and even Alvarez will all be mentioned as "threats" that Mayweather is afraid of. Although right now they're "too green". If Pacquiao wins then he should just retire because their's no one else after beating an undefeated fighter like Floyd Mayweather.

I dont know exactly what your implying, but I got the sense this guy is a fake boxing fan, and loves the whole mma vs boxing dispute. Hes one of the guys that thinks boxing will die when mayweather pac retire. Just like when Ali retired, SRL retired, Tyson retired, and DLH retired.

the fight has to get signed first, and there's a lot of b.s. that has to be cleared before that takes place.

if the back and forth now, is simmering, wait until the war of words rages once and if the fight does get signed.

this is one of those rare events in all of sports where you actually have the top 2 participants competing to see who is actually the best. in the end, i think mayweather-pacquiao will break all current ppv records, and it'll be good for the sport b/c it will draw in a tremendous amount of casual fans, and i think there will be plenty of new viewers who will tune in just b/c of the buzz the fight will draw.

before all that can be considered a serious reality tho, mayweather has to first, fight and beat shane mosley, which will be no walk in the park.

basically what i'm saying is, don't worry about what happens next year, or AFTER that fight. there are plenty of good matchups already in the works for THIS year, and if we are all so lucky as to see mayweather and pacquiao come to fruition, we should be gracious and just enjoy the ride. worry about what's next.....next.
