What do you mean it was proven? Are you implying that Mosley-Pacquiao wouldn't do those numbers? If so, what in Cotto's history shows this? What big numbers had he generated prior to Pacquiao? Go ahead, answer.

Yeah, I mean Mayorga isnt a household name, a very low reward fight. mosley doesnt have much choice dont you think?

You usually don't when a fighter pulls out or negotiations break down...ie Joshua Clottey this past Saturday. There's a big name for ya.

Dude that fact is Pac Cotto made a successful PPV, fighting Mosley might give a higher, or realistically lower number but it's not a fact! Also enlighten me where Tito fought Mosley.

Tito fought MAYORGA. Man, you're slow

And yes, we know it had a successful pay-per-view. But the same way it's not a fact that Mosley may have had a bigger one, is the same way it's not a fact that Cotto would have! So where do you stand?

I dont take Roach word as you guys dont take Floyd's word. easy money, easy fight my ass. Roach could be just hyping Shane when he was still a viable option for Pac.
Last second replacement? Why, yes actually.

My take is it's not a bad choice fighting Cotto over Shane and your point that Pac avoided Shane is invalid.

My apologies not 140 but 142--by the time Mosley proposed his 140 deal---Pacquiao was already talking strictly to the Cotto camp. I guess, Shane was really desperate.

"I asked Shane if he could get down to 142, and he said no," Roach said.
